is a surreal art creation of mine fused from two different ideas that were never meant to come together.

One was the idea of working with portraiture to express a love story using emotions, when the other was the thought of working with maggots to represent the idea of transformation into something new and spectacular but as I progressed with my subject I was inspired by an event that happened between me and a close friend where she was moving and I was unsure where.

My over reaction was that she could be going back home to Denmark or somewhere else, within the world.
The maggot dream itself is a narrative story about a maggot and its journey into a tragic mind and the conversation they have together but it’s also about the idea of overreacting, chaotic emotions and love itself.
